Why Moon Knight needs a second season

The final of the first season of moon knight It aired over three months ago and the series has remained in a state of purgatory ever since. Unlike the likes of Kamala Khan by director Iman Fellaini, the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) has yet to be announced. Despite Spector being one of the least explored characters in the series, we still don’t know when he’ll appear next — which is the primary reason the series is getting a second season.

As seen in six episodes, Spector is just one of the identities that Moon Knight uses. Stephen Grant’s Identity, another one of the identities, has emerged more prominently than Koncho’s more famous peer fist. Then there was Jake Lockley’s introduction in the show’s closing moments, appearing only in a post-credits scene before cutting the screen to black.

with an announcement Daredevil: Born Again At San Diego Comic-Con earlier this summer, we now know that Marvel Studios will be willing to do longer seasons comparable to what one might find on network TV. It’s a shape moon knight You will thrive. With the few episodes that season one had to stick with, a lot of nuance was lost when it came to exploring Spector’s mental illness. As he explores the surface, there is still much to be desired.

Marvel Studios shouldn’t just turn on the green light moon knight The second season, but should also give the series an expanded episode order. Especially if the show’s designs focus on the street-level aspect of the character, it would be cheaper to produce and deliver something that many fans believe is missing from the first season that largely dealt with supernatural existence.

Of all the shows released on Disney+, one can argue moon knight It’s the only series that still has the most character exploration and that’s why it needs a second season.
